But, that was just for the house by itself. These gift sets are special Walmart exclusives that come with the house and extras. They usually get released around September, and are sold throughout the holidays. These are listed as being on clearance, because Calico Critters plans to have a new gift set available for this holiday season.

My experience is that these are among the best built toys today and it's nice to see a discount. They're pricey. Not "Thomas and Friends Pricey" but pretty close.
