If you are going to spend the extra $18 and go to Microcenter. You are better off spending an extra $10 and getting the Ryzen 5 5600x. Better performance. I am ready to jump all over this but I can not get a damn GPU....Grrrr

B550 motherboard only gets one BOIS upgrade last I looked. Better be very sure it has TPM 2.0 or it will not upgrade to Windows 11

have you been to microcenter lately? i walked in on a random friday and they had 11 3070 ti's sitting there

Yes I was there the other day.. Not sure which microcenter you are going to but there were no 3070s by me. Westbury NY. All they had was Radeon 6700 and 6900s which is overkill for what I need.

According to MSI's website, the MAG B550 Tomahawk has TPM 2.0 but you may need to enable it in the BIOS.

What happened to Newegg? They used to have much better return windows and policies. I haven't bought from them in 5+ years, so I'm sort of out of the loop.

Chinese company bought them out. It's now filled with Chinese knock offs like Amazon. Their customer service also went to hell. They used to be my go to for computer parts but now I avoid them like the plaque. If you buy from them, be prepared to pay to return DOA parts.

newegg has been crap for a while but I still bought from them since I lived in the same town as one of their distribution centers. With the stupid raffle system they have now...screw them

Well you've noticed a fall from grace like the rest of us. Like a lot of companies these days, Newegg was sold and changed hands and instead of a smooth transition and growing stronger, we get this. Another great company being slowly run into the ground.
