Is this worthy? A lot amazon reviews compliant about the melting and leaking base...
i bought the ACE PLUS last sept - leaked/broke in march, customer support (through email only) was helpful, they offered me the ace nova as a replacement. I checked it's like $40 cheaper than plus, so i said no, i want to be compensated equally. they then offered giftcards through tango which had amazon giftcard, so i got the giftcard for the exact amount I paid originally.
personally, I wouldnt buy again. the customer service was good, but because the product has heating function, if you get water on the bottom of the pitcher, it wont work until water is completely dried out, that was our problem the first time around. then it started leaking, and pretty much broke it as the bottom of the pitcher is always wet.
I know its expensive, but I bit the bullet and bought a vitamix, only used it for a month, but have been happy with it so far.
