Please tell me the "hdmi 1.4b" is a typo! The specs looked great until I saw that. I know it does DP over usb-c, but there is no way I am buying a laptop without at least an HDMI 2.0.

Why is this being downvoted? This looks great for the price, and I'm sure it is HDMI 2.0a not 1.4 or 2.1.

Soldered RAM for those that care.

At least it's 16 GB here.

This is kinda like the analog to the Inspiron 16 Plus that was on here recently, except this Lenovo has a brighter 350 nit screen vs the 300 nits Inspiron 16. The 75Whr batter here with Ryzen having better power consumption (at lower performance on battery) will make this a long-lasting machine.

Why do I like big, powerful integrated graphics chips? I think it simplifies everything for a work machine and driver-wise you know there's not much to worry about.

Where do you see HDMI 2.0a?

For me the only downside is lack of fingerprint scanner. Not sure if face recognition is as secure as fingerprint (what if someone holds a picture of me to unlock the pc), also what if its dark in the room, will facial recognition still work?

Yeah, instantly kills this laptop for me as I like to drive multiple external 4K displays with my workstation level laptops (no way to upgrade past 16GB is another issue). It's almost like manufacturers have signed a pledge that they will ruin every AMD laptop for one reason or another.

Wait for the discrete graphics model. This should be a little cheaper than current price.

Is the integrated graphics actually powerful? I'm not a gamer but plan to make age of empires 4 my first purchase in 10 years. Assume this handles it with little issue?
