Hey All!

After lots of feedback and some odd data we saw on our end, here's some additional recommendations:

Reminder: If you have other Cashback extensions DISABLE THEM - they could definitely try and claim credit for the transaction
Once you click 'Apply Now', complete the entire process at that time. This includes opening the account AND fully funding it with at least $125.
If you add $20 in one transaction and $105 in another, this may not track correctly. Deposit the full $125 all at once (recommend using the debit card option) to ensure your data tracks to us correctly
Not doing these things will at the very least delay processing your cashback and could potentially result in us not receiving your data as an eligible account.

I switched to sofi through slickdeals and have had nothing but an excellent experience with them. I got my dd bonus almost immediately. I sound like a shill but I'm not, been with slick deals way before sofi. I don't think I'll ever bank with anyone else again. 2% cb credit card and interest on my checking, I'm with them for the long haul.

When I checked my Account History 4 days later I see that only 1 of 5 of my SoFi orders in SD Rewards Account History area shows something other than "Ineligible" for the status, one of the SoFi Active Invest orders shows 'Pending' (for $1000 amount and 7500 rewards points) status now, however my opening and funding of the SoFi Money account does not appear there or it is not labeled as such and shows Ineligible for the status. The other 4 x SoFi orders (I have 5 total SoFi orders showing in the Account History for Rewards, which all mention the word "Wealth Account Created" and "Wealth Account Funded" on them) show Ineligible for the status when checking them now. This is interesting as the Active Invest account was funded a couple days after I opened and funded my SoFi Money account with $125. We followed up with you in your ticket with some updates regarding your Sofi transactions.

We understand that the numerous rows that are appearing as ineligible in your account history may be confusing. Each row pertains to a different action that was taken during the fulfillment of this offer. For example, the opening of the account, the funding of the account, etc.

Therefore, for actions such as opening the account, there is no money tied to that data. As a result, it is labeled as ineligible for not meeting the $125 minimum.

Please disregard the multiple rows in your account history concerning Sofi. If everything is tracked properly, one of those rows should show up as eligible with the correct deposit amount.

well that is great to hear you switched your program, but it fails to respond to the one issue that is keeping me from taking advantage of this deal.......your customer service at slickdeals......why did it take so long and (going off of others comments) why did slickdeals fail to respond in a timely manner or attempt to resolve any of the issues with the previous rebate program?

One of the first things I consider before doing business with any company (specifically online retailers that you can only communicate with via email or phone) is the level of customer service. So for me, it's a bit disheartening to hear that slickdeals customer service is not up to par. Especially when you fail to respond to the customer service issue in the comment above, and acknowledge that there were in fact serious flaws with customer service using the rebate process.

I hope you take the time to respond to this because I would like to do business with slickdeals, but I am not convinced that if I do, and there are any issues, that I am going to get any customer service.

What are the offer deadlines to open the account, fund it, and do direct deposit?

If someone doesn't get their bonus, what does Slickdeals need from us in a support ticket (screenshots, account#, etc)?

If there are/were technical missteps with the browser extension, do we still get the bonus as long as we send the above evidence?

If you read the notes, it shows Bank of America as an eligible bank to push an ACH transfer to SOME banks that have promos that require a Direct Deposit. Unfortunately they do not list SoFi as a target bank so we don't know if BofA has been verified as a push ACH to SoFi from that article, that would tell us if the promo works if BofA pushed the ACH to SoFi. Bank of America ACH transfers do not work for some target banks that have a similar direct deposit bonus though. I have a feeling SoFi as a target to perform an ACH transfer to is not a bank that will work when it comes to gaining the sign up bonus for SoFi if you do an ACH transfer from BofA to it unfortunately. Other people can chime in if they had success with another bank to get the $100 bonus for switching your direct deposit to send to SoFi, to let us know if an ACH from that other bank worked for them to get the bonus. The article explains that if when you look at the transactions it mentions "ACH" in the transaction detail then it may work, but only some source banks that you are performing the ACH push from are supported by the target bank to see that as a "Direct Deposit" type of transfer and allow the promo to work with it. It seems kind of exclusive of only certain banks in that regards for the ACH push.
