It claims 38 servings per can?

I'm speaking out of my arse but I think 1500-1800kcal for an adult is more than adequate for an emergency scenario. I think it's not a bad idea to have $120 of food stored for 25 years just in case. Specially on islands and such. Again I'm no prepper but I've thought about it with COVID and all that.

Edit: it's 38 smaller portions but I'm just going by total kcal which is crucial.

Yup. I have 1/2 dozen 5 gallon pails of 25 year food just in case. They were from a SD too good to pass up... Although, since I did not need it for COVID... hopefully, it is never needed.

I also like the review where he states-

Be aware this product has beans and oats in it. Simply due to the nature of the ingredients, you might expect gas, bloating and, maybe, quite a bit of alone time on the potty depending on amount consumed and your sensitivity.
