How does this work? Would you just need to be logged in on checkout? I didn't see any evidence of rewards or a deal and I got as far as checkout.

You need to be a member of the office depot rewards program, and the reward is available after 3-4 days of the purchase.

yes. a nice way to convert your real hard cold cash to some virtual rewards. just like bitcoins. but you have some duracell batteries to use.

coppertop is cheaper elsewhere. like amazon or walmart. easy pm. usually $10.20 for 16 pack. perfect to reach $10. the 20% coupon isnt as good.
