I think this is good for a person who wants a glass of water with dinner and a small cup afterward. Then they refill the pitcher and let it sit and filter while they enjoy that small glass. If you are an active person or someone who needs a lot of water on demand, this is simply too small.

I disagree. Between three people we find this jug is adequate, assuming it stays full and you fill it every time you use it. Filled to the max (jug and reservoir) this can hold nearly 80 ounces (just checked). There's very few times I have to wait for it to filter, but having the smaller jug means we can easily put in a fridge if need be. Takes up less counter space too. And you can pass it around.

It's not fast enough to continuously be used. You fill the pitcher to the fill line then have to wait for that water to be strained through. It would be super embarrassing to do that around other people. Seriously at that point, get a water dispenser or buy water bottles.

Larger size is also nice because you are more likely to get cold water (because you aren't constantly refilling it).
best to use water filtering system "iSpring" or "APEC" 6-stage at least.
