Congrats on your 1st post!

Re: the deal itself, unless you need to save space for frequent travel at this price you might want to spend a little more for the MX Master 2/3. Before Master 3 I thought those are for big hands only. I was wrong. I can't go back to flat shaped ones. That's the only downside.

I bought 3 anywheres and a G602 when I was in graduate school and none of them last more than two years before going double click or other problems. Then I gave up this brand and bought some random brand on Amazon in 2016 @10 bucks, which still works fine after 5 years

I've been a huge fan of the anywhere line up. Own 4 MX and 3 2s. Naturally I upgraded to this one. I don't know how many people actually toggle between the click/mag wheel but I don't. I'm my opinion the 2s are better when you factor in the price.

Just a tip, using the options software and multiple gesture buttons I've mapped out almost everything you would need a keyboard for. Great software.

bought 2 anywheres. first one lasted like 4 yrs before double click issue. second one, a newer model lasted like 2 yrs before double click issue. I used the software to swap the functions of the left and right buttons and still using both now. takes a few days to get use to before getting ingrained in muscle memory. no confusion w switching between the anywhere mouse and a regular mouse.

When the heck did a mouse become so expensive? I'm assuming it's Bluetooth?

How does the multi device work? If you have a laptop and iPad right next to each other does that switch ok?

65 bucks for a mouse? What could possibly justify that cost?

Partially due to the excellent tracking on any surface (even glass) plus multi device support. Price will stay high as long as there's no competition

I bought this mouse almost 6 months ago and I've been liking it a lot. I have it paired by Bluetooth with a Chromebook (personal) and a Surface Laptop (work) and it's so easy to switch, you just press the sync button under the mouse and it switches between 3 profiles. You can also use a Unify USB receiver as well, which is included with the mouse.

It's on the smaller size but it's not too bad. The mouse wheel was really annoying to use. It's like a hybrid of freewheel and incremental scrolling. But If you install the software to adjust it on a Windows or Mac, you can configure the wheel to be just perfect and it retains the settings across all 3 profiles. I only mention this because I read a review complaining about it and there is a fix to it.

Whether $70 is a good price or not is up to you. The only reason I bought it is because I had some Newegg credit and didn't need anything else at the time.

Edit: Oh I forgot. It's USB-C to recharge, one of the other reasons I bought it as I want everything in my bag to be charged by only one type of cable.

It's completely opposite experience for me. I have 2 Master 2's and it's too large and heavy for my hand. After switching to this one, I feel much better. I will not buy Master 3.
