How does the multi device work? If you have a laptop and iPad right next to each other does that switch ok?

Re: the deal itself, unless you need to save space for frequent travel at this price you might want to spend a little more for the MX Master 2/3. Before Master 3 I thought those are for big hands only. I was wrong. I can't go back to flat shaped ones. That's the only downside.

Just a tip, using the options software and multiple gesture buttons I've mapped out almost everything you would need a keyboard for. Great software.
bought 2 anywheres. first one lasted like 4 yrs before double click issue. second one, a newer model lasted like 2 yrs before double click issue. I used the software to swap the functions of the left and right buttons and still using both now. takes a few days to get use to before getting ingrained in muscle memory. no confusion w switching between the anywhere mouse and a regular mouse.

Partially due to the excellent tracking on any surface (even glass) plus multi device support. Price will stay high as long as there's no competition
