Checked out at $3.14 for me. Good deal. For comparables, I ordered in 2017 for $2.64, again for $6.88, in 2019 for $3.82, and in 2020 for $5.20 This is a good supplement and usually very cheap.

I do not think that you can generalize the dosage for any vitamin or medicine. There is no such thing as the "average person" . The dosage for a 300 lb , 6' 5" male is going to be different that the dosage for a 112 lb, 5'2" female. Also different chemicals have different effects on different brains. I do agree that you should start with 3mg dose but if that isn't helping then there is no reason not to try 5 or 10 mg

3mg is too much. I prefer 300 mcg. Remember less is more when it comes to melatonin.

It's perfectly safe to take anywhere from .2mg to 5mg of melatonin. I'd say start lower, then boost if you need to.

Yeah I didn't know about doses when I heard about melatonin so I started with 10mg, I basically slept until 4pm and was a zombie the whole next day it really messed me up. Even 3mg gives me weird dreams and I sleep through a lot of my alarms.

Exactly.

Also, if you've been using it for a long time, 3mg is not enough.

I need at least 5mg and I'm a 5'4, 130 lbs person.

The SD screen name you chose now makes complete sense...

Is it? I tried taking half and ended up regretting it the next morning since I ended up counting down each hour before my alarm clock went off.

I went to a [well known chain] drug store recently to restock and most of what they had on the shelf was 10mg. A few 5mg. I left empty handed.
