i already have a TCL TV with roku, but the UI is so painfully slow (TCL 4 series I think)

if i get this, would I be able to somehow get one remote to control both the TV and this roku device?

AFAIK, the Roku remote only controls the Roku itself and the power/volume of the TV. I don't think it can control the interface on your TV (it's a very basic looking remote, but does everything it needs to do). You have to sync the remote to the device itself. I think you can sync more than one remote per device, too, but I'm new to this, so that could be wrong.

Perfect, been needing to replace my 8 year old Roku 3 in the kitchen that's been unbearably slow. Just trying to navigate HBO Max on that thing is hell.

Looks like my account has the $25 offer. This should be worth it for the faster CPU and bluetooth remote alone.
