No RTIC is not considered dishwasher safe, but their lids are.
They used to be dishwasher safe but some people reported their tumblers losing the vacuum seal, so now they do not recommend doing it. Although a lot people still put it in the dishwasher and have no issue.
I do have a bunch of RTIC coolers and Tumblers from both before and after their little scuffle with Yeti. The products have been high quality, but I do like the first gen designs better than the current.
I have also washed mine in the dishwasher regularly without any loss of vacuum. The convenience outweighs the risk for the cost of replacement.
I do love my Yeti but it's only 20oz and don't want to spend $40 or more on a 30oz Yeti.
Could any of you give some advice if the RTIC will be worth it?
