I've heard good things about the RTIC brand and happen to notice the 16oz and 20oz tumblers were on sale while shopping for stainless steel insulated tumblers. They are about half the price, or more, of other brands like Camelback, Stanley, or Hydro Flask, so I thought I'd give them a try. I'm hoping it keeps a 12oz beer nice and cold. Multi-colored six-pack on the way. They also have some wine and cocktail tumblers on sale that have me intrigued too!

Coffee traveler mug is also on sale for $15.

Edit: I feel decieved. The "sale" is actually a % off "vs. competitor" .... just FYI for anyone who doesn't really need this.

I bought the coffee travel mug and don't love it. The lid is really hard to pull off without the rubber gasket becoming unseated, and it really doesn't keep my coffee hot for too much longer than a regular mug. I expected it to match my similar Yeti cup, but the Yeti is far, far superior. I think RTIC's coolers are on part with Yeti, but their drinkware has a long way to go.

You can get the Ozark Trail ones at Walmart currently 4 pack 20oz with the locking lids for $22. Granted they're white but they are basically identical in function and perform the same.

Just commenting for others in case they're curious.

No RTIC is not considered dishwasher safe, but their lids are.

They used to be dishwasher safe but some people reported their tumblers losing the vacuum seal, so now they do not recommend doing it. Although a lot people still put it in the dishwasher and have no issue.

Note this is there about normal prices. They really haven't had a good sale in a 1.5 years. They just always compare themselves to everyone else for pricing now.

True this!

I do have a bunch of RTIC coolers and Tumblers from both before and after their little scuffle with Yeti. The products have been high quality, but I do like the first gen designs better than the current.

I have also washed mine in the dishwasher regularly without any loss of vacuum. The convenience outweighs the risk for the cost of replacement.

Tempted to get a 30oz coffee mug, but never had this brand before.
I do love my Yeti but it's only 20oz and don't want to spend $40 or more on a 30oz Yeti.
Could any of you give some advice if the RTIC will be worth it?
