Don't get fooled with the count. All 100 pieces are not magnets. They include Plastic alphabet blocks as well. I returned it after verifying that the actual count of Magnets is just 82.

We play with them almost daily building castles and towers and boats. As expected the larger structures can collapse if you bump into it but otherwise I think the magnets are decently strong. Not as good as a set of rare earth magnets but I never expected them to be... One is a block set for kids. The other is a set of strong magnets for bored adults to play with *shrug*

This one [amazon.com] costs slightly less (after you click 10% coupon) and is 108 pieces, more magnets. I have both sets, I think this is a better deal. It has more variety of pieces, more magnetic pieces, and the car pieces actually work.
