Is this better than the Reolink 8CH 5MP Security Camera System
Hi Baraclude
Do check the various other threads on this camera.
iirc this is a Hikvision OEM camera and meets standards better than Reolink.
Not certain if anyone has done a back to back test of this one vs Reolink.
Would be nice to see bottom video captures in low light conditions with moving suspects.

I prefer Reolink's apps as Annke is a fine system but uses the standard Chinese firmware + apps you see on many other camera systems.
Hi Josh,
Many of Annke's cameras are Hikvision OEM - so naturally the software will be similar with just some branding changings with other Hikvision OEM cameras.
Please don't waste your time with these cameras. We bought two and they were TERRIBLE and kept dropping signal. We ended up purchasing Wyze cameras and they work flawlessly.

These aren't WiFi cams so I don't understand the dropping signal statement..

Repped Joshbaptiste,
Looks like Tamber has a different camera in mind.
fwiw - these are wired PoE cameras, and not wifi so they will be more reliable. We have a number of threads here at SDs on these cameras

Does this camera work only with PoE NVR or would it accept external power source?

I imagine a PoE switch would power it just as well.
As Donaldmr mentions these PoE cameras can be powered by a PoE switch, or other PoE power source. ( I did not see if there is a DC barrel for power in the pictures in the Amazaon page .. some PoE cameras can also accept a DC power plub . look for split cables out of the camera for those type of cameras )
