I now use 4 of these regularly, in different variations, (Pantorouter, Slab Flattener, Table Mount, and a deep mortiser.)
This may not be "THE GREATEST DEAL OF ALL TIME...TIMe..TIme...Time...time... " Lol. But for $189, I'm definitely grabbing another.

I have a 1617 and I really like it but I think I want to wait for a deal on the Bosch MRC23 series kit for handheld use.

But for routers... They. Are. The. Worst.
It's odd how Dewalt bought out ELU back in the day and then started making routers, etc. But they veered farrier away after like 2007 or so. Now they, imo, are only slightly better than say a Harbor Freight.
They could have good routers, but as is the case with almost every Dewalt tool the past decade or so, the company doesn't seem to give a 💩 about anything anymore. 😞😓
