I think you know that G14 is far more powerful in every aspect, both in CPU and GPU. So, why are you asking here if you are so sure that your main concern is Spec and power.

Different issue. It works when lid is closed but heat exhaust is directed to bottom of screen. Per G14 manual: "Don't operate with lid closed."
Can cause thermal throttling, screen damage, etc.

Two completely different types of laptop for completely different types of end users.

One is a gaming laptop with discrete graphics, and this one is tailored towards business users who travel alot and value portability, using their laptop in "tablet" format, and media consumption.
