If you need Consumer Reports I would recommend checking your local library. My library card gets me access to Consumer Reports online for free.

Consumer Reports @ $16/year including the annual book is as good as they do. It does come up a few times a year. Discount does great job.

Buyers FYI: a Consumer Reports print magazine subscription doesn't include full access to the product reviews and comparisons in their website, which has much more information.

Read and bought CR almost every month from about 1984-2012ish.
About 2015ish? Came to a stop. CR "changed" perhaps is the right word.
They were doing fewer and fewer product reviews per magazine. That did not bother me. What did? I fell out of thier demographics--if that is the right word.
Good Luck CR

Couldnt help but notice the cover article on this post....

How would "improving coverage" make the average home internet connection better?

Got a subscription to Consumer Reports one of the last times it was discounted. In about four issues in, I am seeing no value. Better info available online. imo.

I have the same observation. My 5-year subscription just ended, and I am not sure it is worth resubscribing. I miss the pages of product reviews that I used to study to no end. Now it is mostly articles with "advice" that I mostly know or depressing articles about the sorry state of our health care system (true) or the environment (also true). I feel like I get that information better from other sources.

Does anyone have a good deal for their website where they keep the "good stuff", ie the reviews?

I used to like CR years ago when they did exhaustive product reviews of practically every appliance and electronics, as well as cars, Now it's mostly a "lifestyle" magazine discussing and comparing trendy items that appeal to what's in fashion.

Thumbing down yet another Discount Mags thread.
Their "Discount Lock" is a lie.
