Just to mention an alternative for those who want a compressor. (I don't know enough to post a slickdeal, but if anyone wishes to use this, be my guest)
Walmart has this 8 gallon goodyear compressor for $70.31 + tax and that is the shipped price. I bought one for my mother and it should arrive tomorrow, so I'm not concerned about the slickdeal effect removing all of them before I got one.
Don't bother with this unless you need it now. I'm a big dewalt fan and most of my tools are dewalt. Most. Not all. I get the best tool for the job. That being said, I have the Metabo 6 gallon pancake compressor bought on Black Friday last year for $109. It beats this dewalt hands down across the board on everything except it is a little louder. A little. But it can run an impact wrench, a sander, sprayer, where as this dewalt is pretty much for nailers. It's good, but the metabo is better. Wait for a sale. Also picked up the metabo 18ga brad nailer same time for $49. Again, great tool and no problems at all with either.
I have used this Dewalt and the similar Porter Cable 6 gallon compressor. FWIW the Dewalt is 7 dBA quieter and makes it significantly more tolerable in a garage environment. Also, I like the ball valve drain on the dewalt vs the screw-type drain on the Porter Cable.
Small details…but these are the things that make me regret cheaping out on the Dewalt

The Stanley Black&Decker corporation's 6-gallon pancake compressors (Porter Cable, Bostitch, Craftsman, DeWalt) are all more-or-less the same thing, with a slight edge to DeWalt in max PSI, but the CFMs are all the same so that 15 psi difference will be negligible in actual use.
