Thanks! Snagged 2 copies as I've never played the Maxima edition (only the launch and beat it). Hopefully my son will enjoy the game as well.

Yes, Sephiroth is there. The Xbox version doesn't have Sora though.

I don't think any versions get Sora anymore. You had to get him when he was offered on the original ps4 version of the game.

I'm the obligatory Gamepass guy. it's coming to gamepass at some point lol. but seriously I saw this and passed. for whatever reason most of my xbox collection is all digital. I guess ive gotten used to the convenience. i'm too lazy to switch discs.

The 'cute' vocal tics in Japanese don't parse so well in English to begin with but while it tends to be annoying no matter how they 'translate' it, the way they did it for Tama is beyond obnoxious.

Even without her, when this first came out I saw a few demos and Let's Plays and Lann's stupidity wasn't endearing or funny, it solidified my choice not to play this one. Again, another cultural type of comedy that is pretty much untranslatable, but they neither translated it accurately nor made but a token attempt to change it to something more suitable for Western comedy. A game with two maddeningly annoying characters is not a good choice for me despite the heavy nostalgia appeal.

The soundtrack is pretty awesome though.
