Yeah that's the biggest hesitation with this vacuum/brand is the longevity. I didn't get additional warranty, just hoping for the best and if it lasts a year, I'll be happy.
Does it come with any warranty documentation?

Even other chinese vacuums shipped by Amazon but sold by others have an option underneath the add to cart button to add protection plan like:

Add a Protection Plan:
3-Year Protection for $28.99
2-Year Protection for $21.99

But I don't see any option on this one which is really strange.

Wow.. bought this at $150 and satisfied with its performance. 110 is insane given that it's features mimic the roborock.

This one have stronger suction then the Yeedi K650 I bought during Prime Day. I am pretty happy with Yeedi so hopefully this will be at least as good if not better. Yeedi hasn't fall off the stairs yet and I am pretty confident it will not. It automatically back away within couple of inches from the stairs. Getting this one so I don't have to keep moving from floor to floor and able to clean at the same time.

Got it yesterday and gave it a run. Pretty solid.

First run it mapped the floor. Have one area where it got stuck on a shaggy rug. But that was expected. Once finished, it drew the rooms in the app. However, it wasn't the best at recognizing how rooms are split. Like it split the living room into 4 different rooms. This is easily fixed though. You can split or merge rooms in the app. So after the mapping was done, I went ahead and merged and split various rooms as needed. Merging lets you select 2 rooms and combine them into one. And split gives you a line you can place anywhere on the map and it'll split the room along that line. I also renamed all the rooms then added no-go zones.

It is a good idea to go save the map after you have properly split/marked/labeled/zoned it. You do that from the manage rooms setting. Once you hit 'save', it saves it under historical maps. This will come in handy if the map gets messed up, you can just default back to the historical map you saved.

I went ahead and setup a schedule for it to run overnight and clean a couple of rooms. While I had marked a no-go zone on the rug it got stuck on, I found it stuck on it again in the morning. I think that was partly my fault and my no-go zone wasn't big enough to fully cover this rug and only half covered it. So I am going to redraw the no-go zone bigger and see how it does. But this caused me to discover another issue. I picked up the robot and moved it a few feet away and then told it to start vacuuming again. This got it disoriented and it started drawing a new map which was skewed version of the house. So I think the act of me picking it up and moving it and rotating it in the process and setting it in a new spot was a problem. It still thinks it's in the old spot and as it starts vacuuming, it remaps the house in a skewed way, slightly shifted and angled. This will make it miss the no-go zones as the map is now skewed and no-go zones are in different spots than where they were meant to be.

This is easily remedied though if you saved your good map initially. Just go into maps and reset the map to used your old saved map and that'll fix the issue. And based on this, it may be a good idea to not move the robot too far away if you need to untangle it. Just nudge it out of it's stuck spot. Otherwise it may get confused on it's location if picked up and moved. Alternatively, just pick it up and put it back on the base and have it start from there.

Overall, it does a really good job efficiently cleaning the house compared to the old non-mapping robot. Just have to know a couple of quirks on how to deal with it if the map gets skewed. But I think after some playing with it and getting all the no-go zones properly configured so it isn't getting stuck, it should work well.

This thing is amazing for the price. I have a Neato botvac connected and Roborock s6 and this thing has the same real time mapping features, even better than the botvac actually! Its the same price as replacing the li ion battery for my botvac, crazy!

Unfortunately, it broke after 30mins of usage and now I just get a radar error Frown
Also THIS THING DOESNT WORK with stairs, it'll go right on them. Never seen this issue on even my cheapest Roombas. Sucks because its got all the fancy features but not the basic one like don't fall down 30 stairs Frown

Weird too because I have regular beige carpeted stairs, nothing fancy.

Anyone know if this vacuum only vacuums until it has covered the area or keeps going until the battery dies out? In other words, is the duration of a vacuum session programmable?

I have a current non-mapping robot vacuum that runs until the battery is dying. So each vacuum session ends up being 1.5 hours, even though it has already covered the area in half that time. There is no way to program it to run for shorter duration, so it has to be manually told to go dock every time. Otherwise, it runs around bumping into everything for a full 1.5 hours which gets pretty annoying if home.
It is a mapping robot so i am pretty sure it returns to charging station when it is done cleaning.

I received mine yesterday and got to play with it last night. I took 65 minutes to map and it still had 77% battery left. It stopped and went to clean for another 58 minutes with 48% battery left. It was moving very slow with the fan off as it was trying to find the charging hub and I ended up putting it back on the charging hub so it doesn't fall of the stairs in the dark. This one actually go an inch or 2 past the steps before backing up but I am not sure if it will recognize the steps without lights.

I had the fan on the factory setting before learning that's on the lowest as I played with the remote. The noise level is just right at the low setting otherwise it gets too loud while working from home. It's good to have have fan setting that I can use while I am out of the house or need a more thorough cleaning. Hopefully this will go to the charging hub on its own once it's done cleaning.

I am very impressed with the amount of features at this price point. This is a lot more feature packed then the Yeedi K650 I got during Prime Day and cost less so I am very happy with this purchase. Only time will tell with the longevity of these units.

Thanks OP.

I don't know if this thing has a functioning drop sensor, they at least claim it doesn't. So to be sure, make sure to create a no-go zone by your stairs so robot doesn't fall down trying to go down the steps.

Overall once it mapped everything and I saved a good map, it has had no issues finding the charging base or getting stuck anywhere. Pretty impressed overall, but this is definitely loud. I run it middle of the night while asleep for most of the area except the bedroom. And then have a separate schedule to get the bedroom during the day.

Thanks for the heads up on the lack of a drop sensor. However on Page 8 of the manual it does say: Anti-drop sensors can prevent the robotic cleaner from tumbling down stairs and steep drops in most cases. They may work less efficiently if dirty or used on carpet/reflective/very dark colored floors.

I have watched it clean 4 times today and each time it will go past the edge of the top step then back up across the entire width of the staircase. But the fact of the the potential risk I decided to simply put a no go zone instead so I never have to worry about it.

The only problem I am having is that it does work so well when use the Room function and it will run less than 10 minutes then it goes back to the charging dock with 58% battery left. This room is not that big but it definitely didn't go over every spot. I will try it again tomorrow with a full charge and see if it make a difference.
