This seems pretty legit, is this a good long term investment for someone who wants to transition to PC gaming?

You might want something a bit beefier than the 3060 for long term, but it can hold it's own. I still have a 1060 and run most games at 1080p with good FPS and decent quality. You could always upgrade the graphics card later on if prices ever come down.

Yeah it will last 5+ years assuming you dont expect to do 4k or 1440p ultra at like 144hz/fps in every game.

All the hardware is replaceable so you can upgrade later down the line if you want. Its a low-mid range gaming system, but capable. It will absolutely run circles around whatever console you have.

Nvidia is about to saturate the market with 3060s. These cards are subpar gaming GPUs. Do yourself a favor and wait a couple weeks I'm sure these AIBs will get even cheaper.

Look up Moore's law on YouTube if you don't believe me
3060s a subpar card?? Maybe if you are hell bent on 4k/ultra

You guys realize GPU prices are tanking and stock is replenishing, right? Don't pay absurd amounts for cheapo GPUs like this one.

It is subpar compared to a 3080. And the longer you plan to keep the card, the worse it is to buy a low-end card

And a 3080 is subpar compared to 3080ti and 3090. Fantastic logic there.

What's the minimum that can do 4K@120Hz like HDMI 2.1? thanks.

Nothing. 3090 wont even do that unless you have DLSS in the game or turn down the settings.

That 3080 is mid tier gaming compared to a 3090 if you want 4K 60 FPS don't settle for trash 3080 or 3070.

Why does it say "Brand May Vary" on the GPU ?
• GPU: GeForce RTX 3060 12GB (Brand May Vary)

It means whatever they have in stock at the moment. This PC is good for entry-level gaming. I would also want to find more info on the motherboard itself and what does it carry. For example what the maxed memory ram allowed for the system? Can you add 2nd GPU later on as SLI?
