This is a great deal for those that are already using Dasaquin.

As someone that has been in the animal health industry since 2007, I would like to offer a different product for consideration. I do not have ANY affiliation with this product, just extensive personal experience with both products.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008KHL...TMX039AP4Z

The Synovi G4 offers a better "blend" that addresses more things that tend to occur within the joint and surrounding tissue than the Dasaquin.
Inflammation, free-radicals, synovial fluid production.

In all fairness, there is another Dasaquin product that is almost as comparable (primarily missing the Creatine Monohydrate which supports muscle tissue that tends to waste on older dogs) to the Synovi G4. It called Dasaquin Advanced and it is WAY more expensive than the Synovi G4 and at least 2x the price of this Dasaquin.

Again, my experience is with both products and got incredible feedback from pet owners that were using the Synovi G4, many of which had been using Dasaquin prior.

My ONLY motivation to make this post is help people pick the best product for their pet and save the human some $$$ in the process.

For those of you who use this or similar products, what things do you notice in your dogs from using this? Do they climb stairs without pain for example? I'm just looking for the cause and effect of these products. I have a 2.5 year old purebred mutt that is predominantly Malinois I think. But he has a very mixed heritage so I'm not sure what he really is. He's what is considered large, weighing 72 lbs. and is quite athletic and has good energy, which is to be expected of him of course. Is this something to give him as preventative? Or something I wait on until he's a few years older? Many thanks in advance for feedback.

Extra 20 bucks gets subtracted at checkout. I thought the same thing, but you'll see it right before you confirm subscription.

Completely anecdotal, but I have 3 such mutts. Husky mix that's 11, aussie/lab mix that's 10, and a German Shepard/Rottie mix that's 5. i have not used this exact joint supplement before but my 10 year old lab mix was always a nut and when he started slowing down and even some mild limping after really playing hard we started giving everyone a vet recommended (can't think of the exact brand sorry) supplement that very obviously reduced the pain in his hips. The husky has been a lazy cat since he was like 9 months old so his joints are in seemingly perfect condition. I am giving it to my GSD/Rottie mix preemptively in hopes that it'll stave off some of the issues he's bound to have. Not a lot of substance here, just 1 man's testament.

I've seen a lot of suggestions that Cosequin which is cheaper is likely all that's needed for preventative measures since all dogs eventually get arthritis. This is better for dogs with history of joint issues.

Yeah, not sure why no love either. This is the lowest in years. My senior dog needs two chews every day so we stocked up.
Curious why you use 2 chews and if you've seen any side effects. I've had my dog on this for years at 1 chew. I've only given 1 chew because of the directions on the back ,but it seems like as he gets older (9y/o Great Pyrenese), he is having a harder and harder time standing up due to his hips. Wondering if 2 would help him out more.

Thank you for this. I appreciate the information. I actually have a vet appointment today for something unrelated so I will ask them as well. But information from users is really helpful as not all vets are dog owners or use these products. I read online reviews too but always pressure check the feedback.

Anyone comment on this deal what the exp. Date on these?why would it be such a significant savings.... Like to stock up as our mastiff has already have ACL surgery and will most likely need this for a king time. But makes it seem fishy as assuming these discounted bags are close to exp date

EDIT: received my 3 bags of 150, dated 12/2022 FYI. Check to make sure they are soft (you can feel product without opening) also seems to be legit product.

So this is the lesser formula. There is a stronger version of this product that you get from the Vet. This stuff from Amazon had been basically useless for us (4 year old 85 pound female doberman with joint issues in her right front leg).

You don't need the ones from your vet. Add some Turmeric (curcumin) and boswalla ( anti inflamatory agents) along with omega 3 oil (epa and dha) and you have the same.

Does more equal better as far as the weight of the dog goes; is it safe for a 40lb dog to have equivalent of a 60lb dog?
My dog also gets Adoquin injections monthly.
FWIW, I have a 75lb dog and a 50lb dog. I break the chews in half, give the bigger halves to the big dog and the smaller half to the smaller dog.

My vet recommended these and they were already much cheaper via S&S at Amazon so I've been buying these that way for a couple of years. Just started doubling up on these for her (ie, twice per day) and she's just over the 60 lbs so this is a really good deal.

Not that I'm complaining, but after 15% S&S, 20% off, and the coupon, it came to $18 and change:

Item(s) Subtotal:$56.99
Shipping & Handling:$0.00
Subscribe & Save:-$8.55
Extra Savings:-$20.00
Your Coupon Savings:-$11.40
Total before tax:$17.04
Estimated tax to be collected:$1.13
Grand Total:$18.17
