Hm, downloaded Apple TV on the PS5, but am only seeing a 7 day free trial. Not sure how to proceed.

It wouldn't let me download the Apple TV app on the ps5. Said only available on PS4. Anyone have that problem. I tried about 45 min ago

Edit- it is working now.

If you aren't seeing the promo, make sure you have the latest update to the app.

I opened the Apple TV app and there was nothing about the promo. Then I installed the update to the app and as soon as it loaded was a full page dedicated to the 6 month free trial promo. And then it also appears in the app when browsing.

That's not true. I had previously used the 1 year (plus extended time) trial and I could redeem this. The offer won't show up though until the app updates to version 1.000.009. I had to log out, quit the app and launch it again for that to happen. Once it updated and could choose the 6 month free trial offer that showed up, log in and get it.

Thanks man. I downloaded it for the first time earlier and didn't see anything. Just went and checked for update and sure enough there was one. Then the free offer came up next time I started it.
