What's a better 2 in 1 option with an i7, 512gb ssd, and 12gb ram for $499? Because nothing else touches this price for these specs that I can tell.

I have a Galaxy Book Flex 15.6. Besides the QLED screen and the 400 - 600 nits brightness.

Samsung laptops suck and are way overpriced for what you get.

Samsung also has literally the worst customer support.

This does not support the s-pen, they have been discounting this since the release a few months ago. Wouldn't be surprised if it went down to $300 by the next Galaxy event.

Seems like a good deal, but I don't see this price once logged into my samsung account. Previously I used the same account to get Galaxy 3 LTE watch with the EPP pricing. Not sure why it doesn't work now.

I have the i5. Been mostly happy with it except there's some (hopefully software) issue where with Chrome browser it doesn't seem to wake up properly sometimes (didn't happen with edge.) Had a recent software update and hasnt done it since so hopefully thats fixed but too early to say. I dont use it a ton so havent worried about it too much.

Wish it had USB C charging.

I paid ~585. Like last year IIRC. Wish I had got the sale on the i7 mainly for the 12GB ram (weirdly the i7 is barely more powerful than the i5 here) for 100 cheaper that came later but such is life in technology land.

QLed is gorgeous, but fairly flimsy hinges as normal for a thin and light.

You're probably right. But I won't buy a laptop from Samsung ever again.

Previous laptop, Samsung Notebook Spin 7. Under warranty, had screen bleed.

Samsung doesn't stock spare parts for their laptops.
Offered $400 for a $750 laptop while in warranty.

Needed a S-pen for my Galaxy Flex book 15.6, nope no spare parts.

Nope. S-pens are on Wacom EMR protocol.

You need to buy a Wacom Bamboo Ink Smart Stylus which has Wacom AES and Microsoft MPP / N-Trig protocol for the Flex Alpha.
Same as the older Samsung Notebook Spin 7.

Samsung refused to say which pen protocol Flex Alpha is using.

So a pen with both protocols should work, just switch protocols until its detected.

I got the i5 one last time on similar pricing. Decent little laptop. Speakers are not good, but I have not had any other problems to speak of.

I grabbed 2 of the i7 / 12GB models back in February. Other than no USB-C charging, I am very happy.

Have this laptop. Paid almost 2x a year ago.
Great overall. Biggest downside is the lack of key travel on the keyboard. Not even in the same league as Mac or XPS.
