I have 2 of the battery framers and hate them. I spend more time clearing jams then actually working. The worst part is i got back into the whole Dewalt ecosystem because of that specific tool. I generally like most of their tools. suggest you read a lot of reviews before buying. Not trying to be a know-it-all, just sharing my experience.
If you have the option, I would suggest the Milwaukee M18 21* framing nailer. It is simply the best battery model on the market at the moment. No whirring motor or wind up, just instant and repeatable power and consistency with every shot. I don't work for Milwaukee, I just own several of their second gen nailers and they are quieter and better than their air compressor counterparts. We still have a Dewalt battery framing nailer, but you can tell it is older technology.

I have 2 of the Ryobi 18v battery nailers with the DeWalt battery adapter from ebay. These things are so much better than the DeWalt ones I owned and much cheaper. I would highly recommend trying them if you can. Had for about a year ... Gone through boxes of nails and 2 or 3 jams total. And usual due to me half pulling the trigger. They do actuate a little slower than a air compressor powered model.

I bought the Milwaukee and run a battery adapter for my dewalt batteries, best of both worlds
