Crazy Dolby vision not supported. HBO Max and Disney both use it. Otherwise just get a projector

I'm waiting for the Q90A (65") to go on sale again. Back in June I missed it for $1699.

I had an 85 qn90a and it is great.I also have a 77 CX and was lucky enough to have both side by side in my living room before I returned the qn90a. I have 3 windows and a huge sliding glass door and honestly both TVs had no problems in the bright room. In the dark room they were both great but the CX was better. In the bright room both were great but qn90a was brighter. I personally overall like the CX better but it ain't a landslide like some people say. Both will make you happy but ultimately having Dolby vision, better contrast, and 4 HDMI 2.1s made me feel better about my choice. Either way you can't go wrong. I spent a lot of time on both TVs setting up the picture how I liked it and also found myself dimming the qn90a down And brightening the CX. Again either way you can't go wrong but I still give the nod to the CX. (I also have an Xbox series X and like that it checks all boxes). Btw no TV is perfect.
Nicely written, thanks for sharing the comparison.
I went with qn90a 85 inch as I got 8 inch bigger screen for same price due to EPP deal, plus no burn in and image decay over time. I have lot of windows and lighted area and it's good to know that CX also performed well in well lit room, as that was also one consideration for not going with LG CX.

You guys realize this garbage QLED tech is nothing compared to OLED. Right? CX at Costco is far superior to this when it comes to picture quality
Maybe this one but the QN90A is right there with your LG CX. I actually went with the QN90A over the LG C1

Very true. See them in person and judge for yourself. OLED is on another level.
Not compared to the QN90A.

That looks like a tiny stand for an 85" TV.

OLED are panels developed exclusively by LG. Most manufacturers want to move away from OLED. Peace
