I guess paying with PayPal provides a layer of protection.

They've already released a new version with some improvements over this model! This is still a great product regardless

Collet was susceptible to rust and seizing when frequently used in applications such as pruning where moisture is present.

I'll usually lookup sketchy websites on who is or icann and typically scammer sites have a new creation date, within a few months of being launched.

This one has been around since 1999, so probably legit.

I've got that same twist collet on my corded Super Sawzall, tho never a problem as I typically use it in dry conditions.
But many of the reviewers of the model 2720 (same unit as 2721, which has One-Key option added) all talk about having problems with a plastic blade release lever, and sometimes breaking.
But the pics look like it has the quick release twist collet(?).

Add/Edit: Ok, now I see the plastic blade release mechanism the reviewers were talking about, that gave some of them problems.I'll attach a pic below.

In any case, I'd bite if it was the M18 Super Sawzall (2722), which has a tad bit longer stroke plus orbital action on the stroke/blade. But that model rarely gets below $250.

No physical address listed anywhere for this company on their webpage, but if you go through the returns process there's an address listed in Oregon. Searching that address comes up with Platt Electrical Supply in Oregon.

Living in the Portland Oregon area, I can attest that Platt is one of the major suppliers to the electrical contracting industry. Generally not used by the "homeowner" but yeah you can go get stuff from them if you need specialty stuff (i.e. beyond the normal Home Depot residential stuff). I don't know about this site of the deal, but I'd agree it seems legit and probably the price is because they are clearing out the previous model. Normally places like this don't like to keep older inventory and would rather just clear it out.

If I was in the market for this I'd go for it. But for smaller stuff (including pruning) I'm a fan of the M12 and M12 FUEL saws, and for heavy stuff I have an older M18 (before the FUEL models came out) that I found in one of those Home Depot end-cap-of-tool-aisle clearance sections (always fun but lately has not been scoring as many great finds) and that older M18 is a beast enough for anything I'd need.
