Competition is good for the consumer, if the service stinks, it will go away on it's own. If there is a monopoly they can charge you as much as they like, and you have no other choice. No one is forced to use all of the available services at once, just bounce around, taking advantage of all the deals and offers.

I've heard many stories of people being charged, even though they canceled on time.

Boycott all these streaming spin-offs, maybe they'll realize that working with Hulu or Netflix is better for consumers (and themselves). Or we can just chase them all down and end up paying $150/mo for 10 different streaming services and wonder how we got into this mess…

Just signed up with a virtual card that I paused (privacy.com) and cancelled service immediately. 🤞

There's isn't enough on Netflix or Hulu to keep them year round at Retail price, IMO.

Right now I have Apple+ for 4 months free. Paramount+ for free. 3 months of Disney+ for free. Starz and Discovery+ for $1 per month. I can't actually even watch all that. I kinda wished they were staggered out more.
I've been able to keep going from trial to trial for at least 2 years now. If there ever is a gap, I'll catch up on Prime or sign up for Netflix for a month or two.

If he wants to boycott let him it's not hurting anyone but the businesses. Bouncing around using free trials is also a form of boycotting. I personally use Netflix for a year (splitting the cost with a group) then grab Hulu every other year on a black Friday deal ($1.99). Sprinkle in Tubi, crackle, etc and I am good. Honestly what really helped is once I cut cable I cut the amount of time I spent channel surfing. I cut hours off my tv watching by simply cutting cable.

Why would you subscribe to them all at once?

The is the worst service. I've had it 2 months and can't watch a single movie. Everything skips literally every 2 minutes. Tried on my tv and on my phone.

I thought I cancelled and was charged, I've since cancelled again.
