I've been a wired charging kind of person for my iPhone X. I feel its better for the battery lifespan - battery health is still at 90% after all these years. It's a feeing so I don't have exact science to back it up.
been using it with my new iPhone and it works very well... much better than I expected. although the USB port on the back is in a weird position, which makes it a little hard to connect the cord using just one hand.
If I recall I'd findmy phones in the morning not charged fully even though i had put them square in and they were charging when I went to bed.
Something about this device made the phones charge then deplete or stop charging....don't know and didn't keep them around long enough to find out why
