.

In the winter when there is snow for 6 months!!

Some dogs chew sticks and eat the wood. This is for those dogs. Plus, this doesn't rot like most sticks.

What kind of dogs do you have that don't try to eat real sticks?

Based on the reviews and photos, this is hollow.
For those of us with aggressive chewers, this will be a pass regardless of price.

These are awesome for my labs in the pool (they float really well and they're easy to see). In for 2. Thanks!

I'm with the guy on using free wood sticks. Rather have my dog chew on one of those than plastic and the wood sticks biodegrade. This will end up in a landfill for who knows how many centuries. Frown

This makes sense until the day you throw a stick, your dog bolts after it, the stick lands and stabs into the ground creating a Pike, and your dog runs straight into it. …. After that happens, you will happily use safe rubber sticks for fetch.

it's extremely bad for dogs to hold sticks in their mouth. they can do a lot of damage resulting in injury or high vet bills. ask any reputable breeder or veterinarian if a dog should ever be holding a stick in its mouth.
