The maps sucked and the new classes aren't worth it, but I enjoyed the Hapi/Dimitri and Yuri/Bernadetta supports. They and the main plot covered a few meaningful loose ends.

Last year Walmart messed up and had originally said it included both. They ended up cancelling orders but gave some of those that ordered $20 GC which was

I already beat the game. I don't have a desire to play it again just to get this extra content.

They should've just released a complete game. This nickel and diming of gamers sucks.

We talking beat the game as in you played all four routes or "beat the game" as in you played Edelgard's route then called it? lol The DLC kinda feels like a waste of time if you completed all four routes already, but if you have not yet played Three Houses I feel buying the DLC prior is best. Recruiting the rat kids for the four routes feels more natural.

I would typically agree, but the base game already gives 4 paths to take so I got over 100 hours in.

Pokémon Sword/Shield on the other hand..

Last deal was $17.50, so no. This looks like the best deal so far.

I literally just finished this game (blue lions), and I'm watching the credits as I type this. I thoroughly enjoyed this game, but I'm utterly shocked at how bad and incomplete this ending is. It nearly has left every major plot point and question undone and unanswered. I understand that the game is formatted to support multiple play throughs, but shouldn't the major plot points be covered regardless of the house you pick? I'm not ready to commit another 60+ hours, just to hope to get some answers.

Any idea if this DLC answers these plot point questions? Trying to conceal spoilers but..Byleths origin, Flayne/Seteth/Rhea origin, El's intentions/motives, Thales, Solon, anything?!

I paid full price for the dlc. It's good for this price.
You can get 7-10 hours out of the new campaign you unlock on the main menu. In terms of difficulty, it is pretty up there with some of the better Fire emblem games.
And then you get a few extra characters in the main game. And a few costumes though they're not that great.
