They had a good deal a while back that was a two-pack of spotlights for $200. I ordered that and only recently activated it. Not sure if I lost out on the ring assist thing (not even sure what that is actually)..

Oh also, do these have ultra-sensitive microphones? because both of them pick up SO MUCH interference and make reviewing the footage intolerable, unlike the stickup cams that I have set up which have no sound unless there actually is sound near the cam.

One of my neighbors on "next door app" is willing to sell me a two set of cameras with its solar panel for each plus an extra battery and yard sign "not the solar " for $300 with receipt on hand. Thoughts?

I forgot what happened last time but I remember they did something shady like charge me the difference or after I got the promotion went through they didn't like a promo and cam back and charged the difference. I'll have to find the thread

The ring spotlight is by far the worst outdoor camera I have used. Poor video quality poor connection. Ring stickup is so much better and eufycam is even better than that if you need a decent spotlight cam

Mine is doing great, yes gets lots of sun to charge the battery but have had multiple cloudy days and went down I think to 70%, you can also add a second battery. I got the gutter bracket assembly from Amazon both for the camera and solar panel and it was a quick and easy install. I did take it down when hurricane Elsa went by just in case but it was easy to take down. The video recording is great and has people detection to reduce alerts. I highly recommend especially if you already have a Ring doorbell.

Fully agree on Spotlight Cam bringing inferior recordings compared to Stickup Cam.

Also the light of the Spotlight is not a huge selling point, only if one cannot make the wired version of the Floodlight Cam work.

Think the MSRP is also a bit high. Currently the Ring Solar panel in white is $37 on AMZN
