Somewhat related, we just bought and moved into a home that was built in mid 1980's. Coming from a home built in 2011. Been quite a pain in the toosh trying to make this house as smart as our last. Trying to hook up nest hello and current doorbell was dead. Anyway, after about 4 hours of searching everywhere we still can't find the doorbell transformer. Know it's the transformer that's the issue because no voltage at doorbell button wires or chime. Taking a shot in the dark but anyone else experienced similar and if so where did you eventually find the transformer. TIa

With that all said it's on my part for not doing more research. One of these days I'll pull the trigger on a different device.
I wouldnt pay for just one device but it's definitely worth it if you have many. I pay $100/year or $1.38/month per camera for 2 Pro doorbells and 4 spotlight cams. Had them for almost 4 years now and they just replaced one of my Pros, a Spotlight cam and solar charger earlier this year under the included extended warranty so the $100 subscription paid for itself and will continue to do so as I'm positive the other units will eventually have issues and need replacing as they age.
a lot on the site such as chat feature isnt working once you click through to end

works now

Some may need wireless because they are renting a place that wont allow it such as apartment or house.
Some are living in a house they own and prefer to hardwire because they plan to be there long enough to make the installation worth it.
There is a reason why Ring makes both and its because there is a demand for both.
The pros and cons you speak of are subjective opinions.

Even if I own I will never hardwire. Wireless is just simple and better! Wired shouldn't also be such a big cost difference too, it's absolutely ridiculous!
Link 404's and the chat broad said she can't give me the deal. Found a similar bundle on BB for $25 more so not really a deal anymore. Damn.
