If these batteries last twice as long as the standard 2 Ah battery, why is it still rated and sold as 2 Ah. I can understand that the battery cells are different and may allow for more current as the battery is near the cutoff voltage, but to say its twice as long seems to be a stretch.

Turns out that 0% better falls under "up to 2x." The comparison battery they're mentioning is super old and no longer sold. It's just marketing speak to get existing owners to toss their old batteries and upgrade hoping to get "2x more power"
