Seems this is worth the extra $50 over the recent Dell $449 Ryzen 5 Inspiron laptop deal? Faster CPU, double the NVMe SSD, no touchscreen if that matters to you.

Unsure if the screen is IPS on the Lenovo, and haven't compared the dimensions/weight yet.

Just a heads up, based on the model number this "Ryzen 7" is a 4700u (8-cores, 8-threads) rather than a 5700u (8-cores, 16-threads). So it may not be faster than the one in the dell or other lenovo deal which is a 5500u (6-cores, 12-threads and slightly higher clock speeds than the 4000u series).

If you want better GPU performance, go with the 5500U. If you want better processing power, go with the 4700U. It seems to be roughly an even trade off.

One of the reviews on office depot:

"some things to note, it does not actually have a USB C port. Half of the RAM is soldered on to the mother board, which limits your upgrade options. You cannot add a second hard drive, and maybe not even a bigger hard drive, they used a smaller format NvMe stick. The AC adapter is the old style which takes up the space of 3 plugs on a power strip. Having bought 20 Lenovos for work over the last few years, I find they are about 75% reliable... "
