Frequent riders who drain a full battery and recharge it all the way, every day, seven days a week, will see about 2.5 years of life from their battery. A casual rider's battery can last closer to 6-7 years.

It also looks like the battery is easier to remove on the Rad. While the Lectric isn't too bad to fold once you get the hang of it, it's still annoying and a bit clunky. With the Rad it's right there and looks easy enough to access. This also means the key is likely in an easier-to-reach spot than under the frame like on the Lectric.
The Lectric does come with a rear rack while it looks like that's an extra on the Rad.

- Battery sizes - 48 volt 14 amp battery (Rad Mini 4) vs 48 volt 9.6 amp battery (Lectric XP). The Rad MIni 4 will have more range than the Lectric, due to the larger battery size than the Lectric XP.
- Design/Styling (Your preference for design/style of both ebikes)
- $300 - $1299 for Rad Mini 4 vs $999 for the Lectric XP.
The RadMini and Lectric XP 2.0 are neck and neck on throttle only, but the peak wattage of the Lectric 2.0 is clearly higher as it will easily out accelerate a Radmini, and the Lectric XP 2.0 will pretty easily hit 28mph top speed when peddling and outrun the Radmini. The Lectric XP 2.0 also has much better hill climb performance.
The Lectric 2.0 seat goes a lot higher, so will be better for taller riders.
The Lectric folds smaller and is lighter and has a lot more settings to adjust.
Its not all bad news, the RadMini has nice fit and finish, feels a bit refined, bigger battery, easier access battery and probably easier to find aftermarket batteries when yours eventually fails, good brake light, and Radpower is a bigger better known company.

But consider that the average rider is only putting out about 200 watts of power continuously, 400 watts for the true athletes. They spend $5K+ for a very fragile and delicate carbon fiber wonder bike to give them 10% more speed, when for under $1500 they could run circles around the best riders all day and night with a further range before getting tired by just buying a run of the mill e-bike that more than compensates for the bit of extra weight with extra power, and because of the suspension and squishy big tires will feel butter smooth compared to the ultra light rigid frame carbon fiber bikes.

It really depends on the quality. I know you can buy 10s 36v 8ah batteries for $80... taking that, a 48v battery would cost less than $30 more for ~$110.
