Me neither. What's the expiration date on these batteries from Amazon usually?

Are these any good? I've tried the regular Rayovacs and threw most away due to leaky batteries

Ugh..... before you buy this "deal" let me tell you about my rayovac battery "deal". I bought several big packs of AA batteries past couple of years, three brands. Rayovac from home depot, hdx from home depot (store brand), and insignia from best buy. Rayovac is the newest pack, bought less than a year ago, the hdx and insignia more than a couple of years ago. The hdx and insignia are doing great, still working on the packs being fed to toys. The rayovac AA however, has ruined a couple of flashlights, almost ruined a couple of toys from leaking whatever is inside them. Rayovac batteries ARE GARBAGE. Now, before you say.... hey, your not supposed to leave batteries inside devices long term. Didn't matter, the batteries that are still in the opened packs unused and in the UNOPENED PACKS unused, about half of them are leaking, unused in an unopened pack and LEAKING in under a year. If you want batteries that you can actually use and NOT ruin your devices, avoid rayovac "deals" they are no deal at all. I have cheap dollar store batteries the sunbeam brand in a dusty half used 4 pack with NO LEAKS. I've only had a couple of battery brands that have dependably leaked and are garbage, ultralast, fuji, and rayovac, all three are garbage. I hope this helps someone BEFORE they buy rayovacs and ruin their stuff.

I bought a bunch of these about 3 years ago. 80% of them leaked. Which is weird, cause Ive been buying ryovacs since the 90's and never had issues with them. But to have 80% of them leaked while being stored in a cool place is unacceptable. Stay away.

I've had the same issues with both HDX and insignia batteries going bad in the package years before expiration. They were stored in a cool dry area, didn't matter. Cheap batteries must be used fairly quickly.

I've had same issues with leaky AA batteries. AAA batteries have been decent so far.

To fix devices ruined by leaking Rayovac batteries, mix up baking soda with water in a bowl until it is like a paste. Clean the contacts with the mix and clean off the residue
