For $70 (or was it $350 total?) more couldn't you have gotten the Costco sale which includes 2 satellites and a main router hub and then had an extra router (don't think you can make it a satellite) or sell it and have new products from Costco?

Is it possible to do wired backhaul with the Costco version? The satellite routers don't seem to have an input LAN port.

They have a dedicated wireless 5 GHz backhaul that actually works very well. I wouldn't buy any Orbi newer than these though because they removed some functionality that I found essential (like the ability to split the Wi-Fi Bands).

Get it from Costco. Good router but dies for no reason easily.
