I've had good luck with it, and there's always returns if unhappy. This week we needed a new 300W halogen bulb for our torchiere lamp when the old one finally stopped working (the filament was fine but one of the ceramic connectors disintegrated, from the heat I assume). A quick check on Amazon and Home Depot resulted in around $8 for a new one. I'd have preferred an LED replacement but apparently the ones that put out as much light are very expensive, like $30+. We only use it for 15-30 minutes most days, so it's not that energy wasteful. Then I saw that Amazon Warehouse had a "good as new" one for $0.83, so I bought one. Arrived the new day, not good as new but actually new, and not just one but two of them. Installed one of them and worked fine. Didn't even smell like garbage. So, sorry, not buying the whining.
Thanks, I took my chances on a Roomba 981. $142 seems like a great deal if it shows up in good condition. It can be had for less, but Amazon still sells it themselves for $599.

If you like Amazon Warehouse deals, I recommend using a site I saw on reddit called Dealforager. They show the discount so it's easier to see what items are good deals or not. Unfortunately they don't factor in sales like these but it's a good starting point as many of the results end up being part of the sale.
Looks similar to Theforklift.net for searching AWD.
Dealforager looks like it uses affiliate links and/or Amazon smile, but I can't tell who the beneficiary is.
They sent you broken crap and then when you return it, it counts against you for being an A hole
That's what I worry about. Amazon will ban users who return too many things. I've had bad luck with warehouse deals. I've received nothing inside of a retail box on expensive electronics. 😔
Can't speak to the condition of electronics but Amazon Warehouse is a great spot to pick up home hardware: cabinet hardware, curtain rods, door locks, etc.
