Try using a cutter with a convex curve ..... the curve bows-out, not bows-in like this.

The curve of these concave clippers is too tight, I cut parts of the nail I don't want to cut, leaving me with nails that get snagged on things :<

I've used the convex style before and it was terrible. How do you use those?
