I own two of these. The newer one I got is built a little different and is glitchy vs my older one. I wouldn't buy this again. Go with quality NOCO. I also have other brand of chargers. Battery tender (the bigger one), Aukey, and craftsman?) They are all glitchy. A couple has overcharged my car battery. The old black and decker one is still solid. But the best is NOCO hands down, one of the best!

It will not work if your battery is complete drain. I think most trickle/slow charger requires a min of 2v from your battery to start charging. You can always connect the dead one to a good one just so the charger can get started and disconnect from the good battery once it starts charging. This particular charger would take like 3 days to fully charge an empty battery to full.

If there is an early comment that speaks negatively about the product or could affect the sales (commissions), you'll often find a magical number of negative votes to try and kill it before it can hurt sales.

Think long and hard, have you ever seen a staff member say anything negative about posted products?

I often think the same actually, but didn't say it. I see this happen all the time on SD. I also get warnings and such lol

It's too bad, this used to be a great place for information and discussion, but now it's all promotional feedback with fake accounts and comments.

I have this and it came with the alligator clips that can be attached to the battery terminals.
