I had a ceramic sink at my last house and hated it. Broke soo many dishes in it. We use the correlle dishes that would never break but in that sink the slightest touch breaks them. I remember 2 times when I was washing dishes and accidentally hit the sink wall with the bowl I was holding and it just exploded. Also lost many dishes from the kids dropping them in the sink when they cleared the table. Never happens with regular stainless sinks. I'm really happy my current house has stainless sinks.

This is a good deal but be aware that the modern farmhouse look is generally considered on its way out and could soon look dated much like the Tuscan kitchens did over a decade ago. I say this as someone who has a farmhouse sink.

What're people going to do when all the farmhouse sinks, sliding barn doors and shiplap go out of style in a couple years?

Actually, there is - those stainless steel sinks mounted over laminate countertops. I used to have one. I believe they're also called drop-in sinks.

They won't go out of style as farmhouse (alron front) sinks have been in use for many decades. They are the subway tile of sinks. Classic and timeless.

They've been in use for a long time (most traditional farmhouses are, you know, old), but you have to admit their recently popularity is a trend and trends by definition end when another begins. Subway tiles are a clean style and clean styles will ways be in.
