It's only at the beginning that it feels arcadey. Strange design choice that it gets more immersive as time goes on.
The protagonist also has the coolest back tattoo I've ever seen.

There are some good ideas in here, but the gameplay is just meh and repetitive. I sort of like how the weapons degrade and break over time... but somehow a 2x4 or baseball bat lasts just about as long as a machette, which doesn't feel right to me. It's a slow grind, check every corner, leave no car unsearched scramble for resources and ammo kind of game. And your motorcycle gets like 2 mpg, you are constantly searching for gas and repairing it.
It's not the worst game ever, not thumbs down, but I would hesitate to spend over $20 on it.
