This is a pretty nice swing set. My nextdoor neighbors bought it two years ago and still holding up strong.

I bought one of the cedar sets at Costco 10 years ago. Overall still holding up very well. Assembly time is killer though...lol

I know it's taboo to call the store about a deal, but it's probably a safe bet here - Costco employees are pretty aware of what's on clearance locally, and this isn't an item that can be tossed in the trunk then flipped on eBay. The Costco item number is 1475396 for reference.

The most productive way is to go to a store during quiet hours and ask someone to look up item 1475396. They can check the inventory and prices in all stores in the area. AND because it's Costco the employees are all on Prozac so they are actually happy to do it. Attempting the same maneuver at, say, Sam's Club may leave you deeply cynical for the rest of your life.

These things are good until the kids get bored of it which is in about 6 months. Then you're stuck with it and have to mow and edge around it. A $250 bargain alboltross.

Definitely call and ask your local Costco. The workers actually told me they're happy people are buying them so that they don't have to shuffle the inventory. So it's a win-win honestly

If you're asking for in Bay Area, to my knowledge I've seen Fremont, Redwood City, Hayward, Concord, Danville, San Leandro, Great Oaks, Vacaville, Tracy have them at this price. I'm in a Bay Area Costco FB group and everyone is raving about and reporting this deal on where to find. But definitely call to check inventory because some have reported being sold out.

Edit: Apparently Fremont, Hayward, San Leandro and Livermore are sold out. Redwood City may have restocked. Again recommend calling to ask if they restocked or nearby inventory.
