Wondering if i should ,"upgrade" said 7 pro to this. Pros for 8: less curve, 1 yr newer chipset, faster charging (i believe), 5g.
Cons: 8/128 (my pro is 12/256).
Regardless for 349 consider this as similar to an s20. These phones are battleships, and kick the crap out of something like pixel 4a in my experience (ymmv)
Heck im not a photography expert, and i know the conventional wisdom is these dont have great cameras, but just last night i was still marvelling at a random photo i took. It looked great imo, and a lot better than a budget phone.

already getting burned by AT&T network compatibility forcing my Honor 10 into retirement soon, so I'm paying much closer attention to network bands now.

Amazon has it for $400.22, that's $300 off. Official One plus website has it for $449, that's $250 off. Normal price $700. For a Snap dragon 865 chip, this is an amazing deal and hugeee discount. And this slick deal is posted for $350. That's $350 off. If a new ish phone has a sale price for $200+ off, that's good enough in my opinion. Why does this deal sound toooo good to be true with such deep discounts of $350 off?
