Seems like they have pretty poor reviews overall. Also I seem to be unable to see the manual on their website.
Most of the poor review is about motor noise. This happens when it's connect to a dimmer switch. Also light doesn't work all the time. This happened to me and noise went away when I switched dimmer to a on/off switch

Makes sense! I'd be wiring these straight up to a normal switch so it should work fine then. Worth a shot since Costco has a good return policy.
Is it ok to connect a fan without a switch? So, it's always ON, and i control from the remote.
(I have enough can lights in the room so fan isn't for lights. I can connect to a wire in the attic easily, with an outlet box up there, a 20amp breaker that goes to few outlets in the room. Don't want to run wires for a switch and fix my wall holes.)

I got the 64" one as well. At that size you would assume it pushes a lot of air but there is hardly any air on max speed. Not sure if that's the way that particular fan is or if general issue with all hunter fans. Read comments from other users stating the same. Have you installed yours and what do you think of the amount of air it pushes on high speed?

Wonder if this fan does any better.
You sure it turns the way it should? I remember these are two way fans, blow down or up.
I didn't have a chance to put it up yet but I bought another 54" avive ii last year from Costco and that one works fine.

I have it blowing down. Don't get me wrong. There is a breeze but at high I would expect it to be similar to standing in front of a floor fan blowing directly in your face. Instead it is a very soft breeze that you get, so faint you barely notice the wind. I bet if I held a dandelion directly underneath, the dandelion would remain completely intact.
Was just reading the user reviews of the fan in this post on Costco's site and there are quite a few that mention the lack of breeze and low cfm. So maybe this is too be expected of hunter fans.
