Not certain that small built in holding tank on top is sufficient. Rated at about 3 gallons an hour at the rated 65psi and reason for the added pump, one might conclude the typical external holding tank would be a viable option to have when you want 3 or 5 gallons now as when filling up an igloo or whatever.

In a perfect world, a two stage whole house filter before this unit with same 5 micron final would eliminate or prolong the the life of pre-filtering stages on this uniti, as well as protecting plumbing in the rest of the house. As well, where do you buy replacement filters, including the RO filter at a reasonable cost?

Any idea on the water efficiency? Is it 1:1 due to pump ?

Worst System with Lot of Maintainence
I did Buy this system without a pump. I won't buy it again. Replacing the filter is a big hassle. The Ukoke denies everything about warranty. The filter cost is almost more than half of the system. It cost $80 for 6-12 months replacement and if you do replace 6 months for $30 they charge a $12 shipping fee. Nobody answered the call. The only way to reach is via Email which takes forever for their reply. Within 2 months of using the filter started pouring black water and when I contact them they mention that past 30 days they don't accept returns and the filter is not covered under warranty. It is ridiculous. I believe there is one person that sits and replies to all emails and denies anything you ask. Stay away from this product
