Be aware that even though Apple's warning is only for leather cases, my silicone case developed a slight ring/imprint from the MagSafe charger on it within two weeks. It mostly wipes off, but remains visible from certain angles. And with the MagSafe charger, the 12 Mini gets rather hot while charging. I thought about returning it, but the 12 Mini is so fussy about positioning on a Qi charger that I decided to keep it after all.
The silicone case is quite good. It's much better quality, less sticky, and attracts far less lint/dust than the prior cheap silicone case I was using. That being said, it will still attract some dust. Tradeoffs.
