This specific driver doesn't come with torx bits, but they sell several variants that include those and hex bits instead. I use this driver almost daily, but honestly, the ratcheting feature doesn't come in nearly as handy as I'd hoped unless removing long screws, and then, you'd be more likely to use a power driver anyways.
I agree with whoever said the ratcheting isn't that useful. Any bolt will be loose enough after one full rotation to not engage the ratchet without a second hand, at which point it's usually easier to just spin it out with fingers.

Wood screws, you have resistance the whole time, and I could see it's value there.
You can use any 1/4" hex bit that you want.

This is a great deal. Probably saving 50% vs buying all 3 separately.

tempted, because this seems like a tool that might make my life easier....

are these ratcheting screwdrivers professional tier? i have an old ace ratcheting driver in my junk drawer that is pretty much just a joe homeowner gadget.

but im a bit confused by the lack of torx bit on the full sized driver. seems like that would be more important than 3 different square bits.

I had the longer one for years, but lost it. It's very handy, but there's a little bit of play in the mechanism.
This price has me ordering it again, mini version looks useful.

One of the reviewers says the bits are all proprietary?

With that zip code it now shows correct price. Strange! I think I was viewing in store only instead of online.

Only in terms of how they slide into the slots in the handle, maybe. But otherwise, pretty much any standard hex bit will fit into the driver and connect with the magnet inside the shaft. The proprietary part of the bits is mostly just their length in relation to the length of the slots in the handle, and the general ease of which that length allows them to be removed versus carrying a collection of various other bits around with you.
