The XPS is a desktop and not a laptop. If you don't really need the portability of a laptop, the desktop will usually always be a better bang for your buck.

Oh lordy a crappy 4-core CPU being labeled as an i7. Why stop there? lLet's just call it an i9 while we are at it. This is really an i3/i5 folks. Even a low-end 6-core Ryzen 5600H would womp this thing.

Also 45% NTSC 250 nit screen. With these specs this should be $400 max. You are paying that extra $200-for an 16GB RAM instead of 8GB...
OK...you have raised my curiosity. Why do you think that Intel is better than AMD Ryzen?
It is not in performance. Ryzen is crushing Intel right now.

Seems like a fantastic deal but what's the color space?

It's almost sold out.

Is RAM upgradable ? Does it has addl slot for another drive (HDD). I typically have files on HDD and OS on SSD.
Looks like it is Windows 11 ready .

It's not. I have used both AMD and Intel when I compared the response requests intel is far better and AMD is lagging far in that aspect.
This statement is so vague. What chipset/processor are you testing? We would need to make sure that we are comparing apples with apples, not apples and oranges! Also, when we do, AMD will most likely win.
